  11. To convert your old Address Master files...

  13. To convert your existing Address Master files to Address 
  14. Master Pro files, select “Import File...” from the “File” 
  15. menu. After the dialog box appears, locate an existing 
  16. Address Master file and click on the “Okay” button. You 
  17. will then be prompted to save a  copy of the file as an 
  18. Address Master Pro file. Click on the “Okay” button.

  20. (Please note: the importation process does not destroy 
  21. your original Address Master file(s) — it copies the 
  22. information to a new file. If you elect to use Address 
  23. Master Pro instead of Address Master, and after you have 
  24. converted your existing files, you may throw away the old 
  25. Address Master files. Also, you may remove the .AM Pro 
  26. suffix from the newly created files, if you prefer. It was 
  27. appended only as measure against saving over the original 
  28. file and has no bearing on the nature of the file.)

  30. After the file loads, you may want to reorganized the 
  31. information in your individual records to reflect the 
  32. additional data fields. The additional data fields are 
  33. user definable. Click on a radio button or its associated 
  34. edit field and make a selection from the list on the right. 
  35. Your selection now appears as the category name next 
  36. to the button/edit field. Add more data field categories
  37. by selecting the <Add> button below the scrollable list.
